QBN Joint Booth

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent participation in the World of Quantum exhibition, held in Munich from 27-30 June. We shared a joint booth with 10 of our members, including Aegiq, Element Six, Fraunhofer IIS, IQM, Orange Quantum Systems, Pixel Photonics, Quantum Brilliance, Quantum Diamonds, QMware, and Single Quantum. Together, we created a captivating joint booth that showcased the incredible advancements and opportunities in the field of quantum technology. Additionally, our members Quix Quantum, KEEQuant, Kiutra, attocube, planqc, Fraunhofer IAF, Fraunhofer IKS, Qruise, QTI, Quandela, Quantagonia, Quantum Delta NL, Quantum Optics Jena and Zurich Instruments had their own booths making our quantum network greatly represented at the exhibition.

The World of Quantum exhibition, which is an integral part of the renowned Laser World of Photonics event, saw remarkable growth in its second edition. With close to 90 exhibitors and over 15,000 trade visitors, the exhibition provided an ideal platform for us to engage with industry professionals, experts, and enthusiasts from around the world. The response to our network and activities was overwhelming, and we successfully established numerous new leads and initiated promising business collaborations.

VIP Networking Reception

In addition to the exhibition itself, we organized several notable events that complemented the overall experience. The SQuaD Workshop on Quantum Communication, held on the first day of the exhibition as a part of the BMBF umbrella project “SQuaD,” provided an exciting platform for experts from various backgrounds to discuss emerging trends, needs, and applications in the field. The workshop motivated discussions among researchers, developers, industry professionals, and investors, aiming to shape the future of the Quantum Communication industry in Germany and the European Union.

The VIP Networking Reception on the evening offered an exquisite setting on a rooftop with stunning views of Munich to celebrate three exciting years of QBN. Attendees enjoyed a delightful BBQ, refreshing drinks, and the opportunity to connect with fellow quantum enthusiasts in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.

Another highlight was the Networking Lunch, where we curated a series of three-minute pitches from industry, science, and startups within the Quantum Delta NL and QBN community. These engaging presentations acted as catalysts for meaningful conversations during the networking lunch, fostering valuable connections and inspiring partnerships.

Furthermore, we hosted two exclusive QBN Meetings, one focused on Photonic Quantum Computing and the other on Quantum Sensors. These gatherings brought together experts from various sectors of the quantum technology supply chain, including suppliers, solution providers, and end-users. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the latest advancements, delve into the impressive application potential of photonic quantum computers and quantum sensors, and exchange insights that will shape the future of quantum technology.

Overall, our participation in the World of Quantum exhibition was a resounding success. We are delighted by the great interest generated by our network and special events, and we are excited to witness the beginning of new partnerships and collaborations within the quantum technology landscape. The event truly illustrated the rapid progress and limitless possibilities of the quantum revolution. We look forward to continuing our journey at the forefront of this field and participating in next World of Quantum in 2025!
