Event Details

Distributed & autonomous systems, sensors for mineral exploration and materials development, satellites, and more – what do these technologies have in common? They would all benefit from non-bulky quantum computers and sensors that are able to operate at room-temperature. That’s where diamond-based quantum computing and sensors come in. Get ready to break free of limitations and explore the potential of diamond-based quantum technologies at the QBN Meeting on Applications of Diamond-Based Quantum Computing and Sensors, hosted by Fraunhofer IAF on May 4th.
• Biz & Tech talks
• Networking & lab visit
• WG Diamond Quantum Technologies (DQT)
o Definition of WG Strategy, Goals & Activities of the next 2 years
o Election of the WG leads
• Informal dinner

Talks, networking & lab visit
This exclusive, in-person meeting will gather the key players covering the entire supply chain from diamond materials development and supply to sensors and computers manufacturer to industry end-users. We will discuss latest trends and challenges in R&D and business in and connect you with potential collaboration and business partners and visit Fraunhofer IAF’s labs.

Establishing WG Diamond Quantum Technologies (DQT)
With the establishment of the WG DQT QBN and its members together aim for:
• Positioning QDT as key enabling technology in politics to attract tailored funding.
• Increasing the awareness of DTQ applications to unleash the industry innovation potential.
• Tackle the most pressing as well as long-term challenges to commercialize QDT.
This specific meeting will lay the foundation for the new QBN WG Diamond Quantum Technologies since we will discuss and define a 2-years’ WG Strategy incl. Goals and Activities of the WG such as the development and implementation of a sustainable roadmap incl. needs and barriers, position papers and joint outreach activities.
Interested in shaping the future of diamond quantum technologies as WG lead, accompanying the group and moderating the discussions together with the QBN team? – Nominate yourself or a colleague!

Informal Dinner
In addition to the main event, there will be a dinner on the evening of May 3rd, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees and network in a relaxed and informal setting while you taste regional delicacies.
Sign up now and secure yourself one of the very limited seats and join the informal dinner the evening before.
