On 15 Nov 2024, the French Embassy to Germany and QBN organized the exclusive Franco-Germen Quantum Dialogue at the French Embassy in Berlin, Germany – a significant milestone in advancing collaboration and strengthening synergies between the French and German quantum ecosystems. This exclusive gathering brought together leading experts, industry pioneers, researchers, and policymakers from both nations, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing Europe’s technological sovereignty in quantum technologies.
Core of the dialogue was the tailored interactive workshop and a roundtable discussion, both moderated by QBN where the participants comprehensively discussed challenges and gaps in fields such as R&D, infrastructure and political frameworks, and identified opportunities and synergies to build on.
We developed an in-depth understanding of the French and German quantum ecosystems and the emerging national quantum industries as well as their needs to drive quantum technology developments and leverage economic opportunities. Collaboration and tailored support measures are key enabler to build a resilient European quantum industry.
