QBN Launches Innovative Digital Networking Platform to Foster Collaboration in Quantum Communication
August 28, 2024 – QBN (Quantum Business Network) is excited to announce the successful launch of its innovative Collaboration & Networking Platform, designed to enhance interaction, resource sharing, and partnership development within the Quantum Communication sector. As part of the SQuaD-Project (Schirmprojekt Quantenkommunikation Deutschland), this platform meets the growing need for a unified and interconnected ecosystem across Germany and Europe.
The platform includes a personalized Dashboard, a Stakeholder Map, interactive tools like the Value Chain breakdown, and various sections for managing company profiles, offers, requests, and network connections. These features are designed to facilitate easier communication, strategic planning, and partnership development, thereby enabling a well-networked and effective ecosystem.

Through this new platform, QBN continues to advance its goal of fostering strong international partnerships and driving the adoption of Quantum Communication technologies. This commitment is particularly evident in the activities of QBN’s Working Group on Quantum Communications & Cybersecurity, dedicated to advancing the transition to quantum-secure cybersecurity practices. By promoting international cooperation, driving technical innovations, and shaping policies and standards both in Europe and globally, QBN is at the forefront of advancing Quantum Communication technologies, such as Quantum Key Distribution (QKD).
The SQuaD project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), aims to accelerate the commercialization of Quantum Communication technologies by bridging the gap between academic research and industrial application. As a key partner in this project, QBN is leading efforts in innovation promotion, technology transfer, and networking among stakeholders from industry, science, and politics.
