Munich, 1 Dec 2025 – The German Quantum Industry gathered for a landmark workshop, convened by QBN and hosted by IQM, to accelerate Germany’s leadership in quantum technologies and set the course for an ambitious long-term strategy. The meeting brought together key players from the German Quantum Industry, Industry Enterprises and Investors to shape the future of quantum innovation in Germany and Europe.


A Shared Vision and Commitment of the German Quantum Industry
With the global race for industrial quantum leadership intensifying, the German government’s High-Tech Agenda Germany has laid the groundwork for technological advancement. The QBN workshop was driven by a shared sense of urgency to ensure that Germany and Europe not only keep pace in R&D but become an industrial quantum powerhouse retaining actual long term value creation in the region.


The workshop identified real economic opportunities, addressed challenges, and aligned efforts with commercial and societal needs. The collective ambition is clear: to leverage Germany’s and Europe’s strengths to drive the adoption, break habits if necessary. Together we will make sure quantum technologies will be developed, build, operated and used in Germany and Europe and create a good return of investment for our economy and society.

The workshop highlighted the immense opportunity for Germany and Europe to drive value creation, enhance technological sovereignty, and tackle pressing security challenges.
