SiPhotonIC is a reliable PIC prototyping company that was established in 2018 based on the spin-out of silicon photonics technology from the Department of Photonics Engineering, Technical University of Denmark (DTU Fotonik). The company offers high-precision (>20-30 nm structures) prototyping service for customized photonic integrated circuits (PICs) on 250 nm silicon-on-insulator (SOI) platform with short turn-around time (1-3 months). Design layout support, custom layer stacks, novel materials and back-end services are available upor request. The company relies on the Electron Beam Lithography setup of the Danish National Center for Micro- and Nanofabrication (DTU Danchip) with the state-of-the-art class 10-100 ISO-9001 certified cleanroom facility (1350 m2). The company has a strong research know-how in photonic quantum applications such as quantum computing & quantum communications. SiPhotonIC has also a strong track-record of quantum PIC manufacturing for generation/sampling of quantum states of light, quantum teleportation, quantum entanglement, QKD systems, error-protected qubits etc. Its targets include also relevant quantum applications (e.g. quantum sensing) and classical photonic applications.
