As one of the largest mathematical research institutes in the world, the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM focuses on mathematics-induced application-oriented research and services. The classical disciplines of applied mathematics such as numerics, optimization, stochastics, statistics, as well as differential equations are cornerstones of our work.
