eleQtron is a hardware-focused start-up founded in 2020. We develop and market ion trap-based quantum computers. Our computers, currently in development, will go online in the next few years and be available as a cloud-based subscription service. We are a spin-off from the chair of quantum optics at the University of Siegen. At Siegen, we have developed our signature technology MAGIC (short for magnetic gradient induced coupling). MAGIC allows us to control our ion qubits with microwaves, leading to high scalability and easy miniaturization with conventional rf-methods.
