nextnano develops software for the simulation of electronic and optoelectronic semiconductor nanodevices. More than 250 customers in more than 35 countries already use the software to simulate quantum mechanical properties of devices such as nanotransistors, LEDs, laser diodes, photodetectors, quantum dots, nanowires, quantum cascade lasers, resonant tunneling diodes, solar cells and qubits.
Currently, nextnano is researching a concept similar to the photonic quantum computer, using electrons, called electronic flying qubits, instead of photons.
