Role Overview:
As a Product Manager specializing in Quantum Technologies, you will bridge the gap between our technical development team led by the CTO and market-focused roles like Product Marketing and Business Development. Your role will be to ensure that our products are aligned with both the technological vision and the market needs, turning scientific breakthroughs into commercial products that provide real-world solutions.
Key Responsibilities: 
Collaboration with CTO & Technical Teams:
Partner with the CTO and quantum research teams to ensure the product roadmap leverages the latest quantum technology innovations.
Translate complex quantum computing and quantum science concepts into product features that are marketable and relevant to customer needs.
Ensure that technical decisions align with both long-term product strategies and immediate business goals.

Product Strategy & Market Alignment:
Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with QPerfect’s technical strengths and market opportunities in industries like healthcare, chemistry, finance, logistics and artificial intelligence.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis in the quantum space to inform product positioning and roadmap decisions.
Balance technical innovation with market feasibility, ensuring a focus on solving real-world problems using quantum technology.
Collaboration with Product Marketing & Business Development:
Work closely with the marketing team to craft go-to-market strategies, ensuring the unique benefits of quantum products are communicated clearly to non-technical stakeholders and potential customers.
Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships in industries where quantum technology can provide competitive advantages.
Align the product development lifecycle with market timelines, ensuring smooth and impactful product launches.

Product Lifecycle Management: 
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery, effective prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and inform iterative improvements.
Lead product planning efforts, ensuring continuous collaboration with R&D, sales, and marketing teams.

Customer Focus & Feedback Loop:
Engage with end-users and customers to understand their quantum computing needs and identify where our products can provide value.
Use customer feedback to refine product features, ensuring a strong market fit for QPerfect’s quantum solutions.
Address technical and functional challenges raised by customers, working with engineering and support teams to resolve them efficiently.
Communication & External Engagement:
Represent QPerfect at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our quantum products and share insights on the latest advancements in quantum technology.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and external stakeholders, presenting product updates and gathering valuable feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Technical & Market Expertise:
Educational Background:
Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Quantum Computing, Quantum Information Science, or related fields are highly preferred.
MBA or other business qualifications are a plus, especially for candidates with a technical background looking to transition into a business-oriented role.

Quantum Expertise:
Understanding of quantum computing fundamentals, including quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms (e.g., Shor’s, Grover’s), quantum cryptography, and quantum hardware platforms (e.g., superconducting qubits, trapped ions).
Experience with quantum programming environments such as MIMIQ, Qiskit, Cirq or similar.
Familiarity with the limitations of current quantum computing systems (NISQ technologies) and quantum error correction methods.

Software Development & Technology Integration:
Experience in software development processes, including agile methodologies and integrating quantum computing solutions with classical systems.
Proven ability to manage the development and launch of software products.
Market Application of Quantum Technologies:
Ability to translate advancements in quantum computing into marketable products that solve complex industry challenges.
Experience working in industries expected to be disrupted by quantum technologies, such as chemistry, finance, logistics or artificial intelligence.
Industry Insights & Collaboration:
Strong familiarity with the quantum computing landscape, including key players, commercial platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Google Quantum), and industry developments.
Established network in the quantum science community, with connections in academia, research institutions, and industry.

Experience:
2+ years of product management experience, ideally with at least 2 years in quantum computing or a closely related technical field.
Proven track record of successfully working with customers and end-users on deep tech or quantum-based products.
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and business development teams.

Languages:
Required, English
Preferred, Knowledge of German and/or French is a plus

Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven product management.
