Interface between Quantum Ecosystem, Programme Operations & Venture Initiatives

About Us: Quantum Business Network (QBN) is a leading international industry network for advancing quantum technologies, their industrial and military adoption and the broader deeptech ecosystem. We connect industry leaders, start-ups, research institutions and policymakers to create market access, scale innovations and strengthen technological sovereignty.
To reinforce our team, we are looking for a proactive and structured individual who is excited about building professional networks, bringing high-impact events to life, and helping drive forward our B2B services.

Your Responsibilities

As Programme & Operations Associate / Coordinator – Deeptech & Defence, you will serve as the operational backbone for key network initiatives, working closely with executive leadership:
◾ Network & Working Group Operations: Operationally manage and moderate policy and business-related workshops, prepare and follow up on meetings, create documentation, and drive member engagement.
◾ Event & Format Management: End-to-end execution of strategic flagship formats – from speaker and partner coordination to logistics and on-site support.
◾ Content & Representation: Draft policy papers, industry reports, and presentations, and represent QBN at conferences and networking events.
◾ Development of New B2B Offerings: Actively participate in developing and structuring services.
◾ Partner Management & B2B Outreach: Gradually take ownership of partner and client outreach for newly developed offerings.

Your Profile

◾ Education: Master’s degree (or Ph.D.) in Physics, Quantum Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM field.
◾ Professional Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in project management, cluster/network management, startup accelerators, entrepreneurship, B2B event management, or consulting.
◾ Domain Understanding & Passion: Solid technical understanding of deeptech / quantum technologies and a strong interest in their intersection with business, policy, and defence/security.
◾ Work Ethic: Highly structured, reliable, and execution-oriented in day-to-day operations (an organizational talent with strong personal accountability).
◾ Communication & Location: Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken); confident demeanour when engaging with high-level stakeholders from industry, government, and research. Primary residence and work location in Germany are strictly required.

What We Offer

◾ High Visibility & Network: Direct exposure to decision-makers, founders, VCs and top researchers across the European and international deeptech ecosystem.
◾ Entrepreneurial Growth: The opportunity to build and shape new services from the ground up under direct executive guidance.
◾ Attractive Package: Competitive base salary paired with a performance-driven bonus model that recognises and rewards your contribution and our shared success in developing and executing new initiatives.
◾ Flexibility: Hybrid work setup (remote within Germany / office in Munich) with flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and high autonomy.
