Within the national quantum strategy, started in 2021, the ANR launches a call for research proposals in quantum sensors and quantum metrology. The roadmap of the national quantum strategy includes a response to needs in the metrology domain, that correspond to developments in quantum technologies.
This call for proposals aims at funding high quality research projects, in the following topics:
- Quantum sensors based on defects in diamond, applied to magnetometry, and beyond;
- Quantum sensors based on defects in other materials (SiC, Si, GaN, hBN, …);
- Optomechanical, electromechanical, or hybrid quantum systems;
- Quantum sensors based on superconducting circuits;
- Entangled quantum states;
- Innovative materials;
- Networks of quantum sensors
