Maritime Innovation Insights MII 8

MII 8 on May 7, 2026, will place a strong focus on demonstrations and applications. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., three sessions will provide in-depth insights into our fields of innovation—shipping, ports, maritime autonomous systems, and port technologies—with keynote speeches and demonstrations in our laboratories. You will have the opportunity to engage in intensive technical discussions with our employees and with each other.

Under the title “Maritime Systems in Transition – Intelligent, Networked, Resilient,” we will present new developments for greater safety and resilience of maritime (critical) infrastructures in lectures and demonstrations, take a look at the navigation of the future, and highlight opportunities for the use of autonomous and mobile robotics in ports and terminals. Our speakers are experts and users from the maritime industry as well as researchers from Fraunhofer CML.
